I try to answer all emails within 12 hours after receving them (and I generally do within hours). There have been a number of cases where I sent an email response that bounced back. Problem was that the user had mistyped the email address.

I believe in prompt technical support. So, if you haven’t received an email in 12 – 24 hrs after sending one, check to make sure it didn’t get intercepted by the spam filter on your email account. And make sure you type in your email address correctly.

After scouring through the Apple development forums regarding this issue, it appears that this MAY be a image library permission issue. One of the suggested solutions is to just sync your device with iTunes.

This is a search configuration setting that you need to change:

  1. Start up TCM Clinic AidHD
  2. Select System Configuration
  3. Scroll down to “Search using these tables ….” and go a little further until you see Points.
  4. Click on the blue icon to the right of the Points entry
  5. Scroll down to the bottom to the entry Pinyin (i.e., He Gu)
  6. Click on this entry to select it (you are telling the search routine to also look at the pinyin name, without tonemarks).
  7. back out of these screens to the main page and do a search on the point name. Remember I separate the name components, He Gu, not HeGu. Also with He Gu, put quotes ‘He Gu’ or “He Gu” around the name.

When making an In-App Purchase, you will be prompted for the UserID/Password you used when you originally purchased TCM Clinic AidHD.
iTunes, which manages all purchases, is very strict regarding authentication, so if you get a message that you need to purchase the app first, the UserId/Password you are using doesn’t match iTunes records.

Here’s a link to the Apple support area that handle issues with AppleID (login and password) issues:

https://www.apple.com/support/appleid/

iTunes keeps all purchase information and handling to themselves. So the user has to deal with them directly.

This issue has be fixed in 1.1.4. However the iTunes developers portal has been closed for Christmas break. 1.1.4 should be available during the first week of January.

The work around is to keep your iPad in landscape orientation while running TCM Clinic AidHD. Any change to portrait orientation will freeze your selections.

First off it is imperative to stop the current TCM Clinic AidHD process. Even if you exit from TCM Clinic AidHD it is still running in “background mode”.

So, you will have to kill the current TCM Clinic AidHD process and then start it up again.

  1. To do this, double click the home button to reveal the row of apps below the dock
  2. Slide the apps from side to side to find TCM Clinic AidHD
  3. When you find it, tap and hold the app until a red badge with a line through it appears. The apps will also wiggle like they do when you’re rearranging them
  4. When the red badge appears, tap it to kill the app
  5. When you’re killed all the apps you want, click the home button again to return to using your iPhone/iPad.

Now start TCM Clinic AidHD and keep it in landscape orientation.
